Boxed DVD SetsCake Boss is the popular TLC cable series that chronicles the bakers at Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey. The head baker and owner of the baker is Buddy Valastro. Baking runs in the family; Buddy’s sisters and brother-in-laws, and other extended members of his family have be part of running the bakery. In episodes of Cake Boss we do get to see a glimpse of the personal relationships of Buddy, his family, and employees; but the major part of the show is centered on creating some outrageous cakes that make audiences says , “Wow!” Viewers get a glimpse into what actually is required to make lavish and over the top cakes. Some the cakes on Cake Boss have ingredients other than flour and eggs; sometimes to get the finish products there is robotics and machinery. The clients all seem to be satisfied with the cakes that they receive. Cake Boss does allow viewers to see the reactions of customers as they get to see their cakes. Most are usually blown away by the finished product. Cake Boss is just one of the many reality television series that have taken viewers into kitchen as great dishes and dessert are created. Each tries to include their own unique personal elements to make their show interesting. |
